Asma has been making videos ever since her palms were big enough to hold a camcorder. On top of working as a freelance videographer and filmmaker, Asma enjoys uploading the occasional Youtube video for fun.

As a participant in the Doc Institute's Doc Film Lab, Asma is completing a short documentary focusing on the becoming and unbecoming of young East African women in Canada.
